£650-£750 per day

Birmingham (Remote /flexible working)

We have an incredible opportunity to join a FTSE 100 insurance company as a Financial Reporting Accountant to support theGroup Financial Controls team on a 3-month contract.

The role

You will be part of a small team of 5 people within the Entity Reporting and Operations team, providing the financial reporting for the Service and Corporate (holding) companies.

The individual will have opportunity to provide IFRS and SII reporting, statutoryaccounts preparation and other duties.

Key responsibilities:

Complete a range of standard financial reporting including producing financial reports and statutory reporting.
Analytical reporting as required to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all data is prepared and reported in accordance with relevant reporting standards and business reporting requirements.
Participate in internal discussions and groups as required to promote finance interests and work closely with stakeholders across the business
Communicating complex accounting/finance procedures and principles with multiple stakeholders across the business and externally.

What are we looking for?

ACCA (Association Chartered Certified Accountants) certification
Intermediate/ advanced Excel skills
IFRS knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement
Experience with preparing statutory financial statements is an advantage but not a requirement
