Description

The post holder will also assist with vehicle commissioning and decommissioning and internal vehicle audits when required by the Fleet management team.

Within this role the post holder will also assist workshop technical staff with appropriate support as and when required, for example lifting / supporting in jobs that may require manual assistance.

The post holder will also assist with preventative maintenance by reporting defects and accident damage found on any vehicles immediately.

Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work across all stakeholder groups in a focused and diplomatic way.


To adopt and promote a customer-focused culture, understanding customer requirements and ensuring that communication is timely and effective Ability to tact and persuasive skills to negotiate the release of vehicle from for the purpose of Fleet Maintenance requirements under pressured circumstances.

Ability to interpret and communicate technical information from a qualified technician to a dealership or crew at the point of vehicle handover.

Ability to undertake vehicle familiarisation with new starters as and when required.

Treat all stakeholder with respect, courtesy and cordiality, whilst obtaining relevant accurate information Ability to promote the importance of and demonstrate vehicles check requirements To work closely with the Fleet Logistics Manager and Lead Collection and Delivery Driver to ensure the provision for sufficient vehicles and equipment to meet the operational needs of the service and meet H&SE requirements.
