Role Summary**:


40 Hours: 7am till 3pm

Shift Pattern:
Monday - Friday

Housekeeping is a vital element of the service level we aim to deliver at Zenith.

This position requires the delivery of high quality internal and external cleaning of areas within the development to ensure that they are presented to the best standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be expected to, amongst other elements of the role;

  • Help to create a daily perfect first and last impression
  • Clean all communal floor coverings, mopping, sweeping and/or vacuuming as necessary
  • Comprehensive dusting in all necessary areas including shelving, window areas, door recesses and light fittings
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all light switches, door plates, foot plates and general door furniture and carefully wipe clean any fire extinguishers
  • All communal mirrors, internal glazed screens, glazed doors, including vision panels, are to be cleaned and left smear free
  • Maintain a clean and smart appearance at all times in the staff uniform provided
  • Ensure that public areas including building entrances and receptions, lifts and lift lobbies, corridors, internal and external circulation space and bin stores and kept clean and presentable
  • Provide a friendly and professional service for residents and visitors
  • Immediately report any health and safety matters to the Property Manager/ Facilities Manager

Personal Qualities and Experience:


  • Great communication skills and a friendly and helpful approach to all requests made with emphasis on service and hospitality
  • Have a natural passion for and pride in your work
  • Proven examples of your ability to follow procedures, to be proactive and action orientated with great organisation skills
  • Taking pride in your appearance and that of the estate; representing the best interests of the Deansgate Square brand at all times.
  • The role is also a front of house, resident facing role and as such, a level of awareness and confidence is expected when interacting with residents and cleaning the communal areas.
