- You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service for our online shop, Stòr, which has recently been replatformed on Shopify,assist in keeping the online shop database up to date, add new products as required, and help process customer orders from point of receipt to dispatch from the warehouse and any post sales follow up
Job description:
The retail team consists of 18, based across Longmore House HQ and Seafield warehouse.
The team oversees the retail function across 74 shops across the country and online, including sourcing and developing product, visual merchandising, ordering and forecasting stock, product promotion and support, ecommerce activity, sales support, and all analysis and reporting on all activity.
The Ecommerce Assistant position is a new multifaceted role within the online retail team and will include providing excellent customer service to our existing domestic and international audience, as well as having a hands-on approach at product level within the warehouse for dispatch and learning all aspects of the consumer journey.
- Manage online shop inbox and phone lines, answering questions and delivering
- Visual merchandising of products and categories online via the shopify platform.
- Support product upload process and updates.
- Liaison with drop ship suppliers.
- Overseeing stock levels within the online shop branch.
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Support marketing through coordination of physical promotional materials.
- Support marketing through content gathering and creation.
- Liaison with couriers and other key suppliers.
- General support for Ecommerce and the wider retail team & warehouse.
Person specification:
- Essential requirements:
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of excel.
- Team player with desire to learn new skills.
- Able to work flexibly to support the team where required.
- Desirable requirements:
- Basic photoshop experience.
