The Cavalry & Guards Club is a Private Members Club that represents history, tradition, timeless elegance and quiet efficiency plus that all-important personal touch.

This gracious building, which is more a home than an institution, is situated at the Hyde Park Corner end of Piccadilly, in the heart of Mayfair, with wonderful views of Green Park.

Responsibilities_

Delivering an effective wine and beverage service in the restaurant
Full knowledge of the wine list in order to assist guest with their choices, being able to make appropriate recommendations where necessary
To be aware of how each dish is prepared and the ingredients used, developing your knowledge as the menu changes.
Provide charismatic, warm and engaging service with the aim to deliver a memorable experience for all our guests
Guide and support junior members of the team during service to ensure necessary standards are being met and exceeded
Ensure guests in your section always have necessary wine, water or other beverages throughout their experience
Have a love for wines & spirits and passion for developing your knowledge further
Have equal passion for food and hospitality
WSET 3 or equivalent an advantage
To be on duty on time and always be presented in a clean and smart manner, ensuring uniform is smartly dressed and shoes are polished.
To attend and participate in any training and personal development schemes as recommended by your manager.
To comply with all the company's Health and Safety requirements.
To show initiative and demonstrate a strong interest in the latest trends of the industry
