Responsibilities of the Social Media and Communities officer:

  • Work with the Social Media and Online Communities Manager to devise and deliver engaging content for social and online communities across web, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, ensuring consistency in terms of style, quality and tone ofvoice.
  • Proactively explore new and innovative visual approaches and techniques for storytelling on social.
  • Deliver video content that engages and educates, including explainers and case studies.
  • Support the delivery of a matrix approach to extending customer support to our members across our social media presence.
  • Support the Social Media and Online Communities Manager in planning and implementing a member engagement strategy to grow and energise their online communities
  • 2+ years in a social media role
  • Demonstrable experience of online content development, including writing for online channels; able to show examples of accessible, inspiring content which measurably drive action
  • Experience of digital asset creation using photo and video editing software (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop) and shortform copy for posts
  • A passion for all things social media, and a knowledge of the latest trends and best practice.
