Description
Hold a recognised NVQ level 3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent;

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom practice that reflects high expectations;
  • Possess proficient literacy and mathematics skills;
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Possess an understanding of how best to support children's personal, social and emotional wellbeing;
  • Have knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and have recent experience of working in this phase of learning;
  • Hold a current and relevant firstaid qualification (or be willing to work towards achieving this);
  • Be able to motivate and inspire children to learn;
  • Be able to use ICT effectively to support learning
  • Possess a commitment to support the wider development of the school, its ethos and our community, going the 'extra mile' to achieve the best possible outcomes
