THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group are seeking to recruit Warehouse Operatives holding an in-date forklift truck license, for a global logistics business based in Birtley who have been in operation for over 15 years and are continuously growing.

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
2 shift rotation (Days and Back)

Early finish on a Friday (6:30pm on back shift)
Longevity and development within the business
70% Warehouse 30% Forklift Driving
Day shift pay £10.50 Back £11.05
Overtime available 1 in every 4 weeks

THE ROLE
Picking/Packing
Using hand held scanners
Operating FLT Trucks
Completing paperwork
Based in the warehouse working as part of medium size team
Moving product around the warehouse both manually and with Forklift Truck
Using hand held scanners to scan product
Role isn't all forklift work, it does entail some manual tasks

THE PERSON

You will have at least 6 months forklift experience and hold either a Reach or Counterbalance licence that must be in date.

Roles are temporary to begin with, but there are definite opportunities for longevity and permanent employment for the right people.

You must be flexible to work the following shift pattern:

  • Week one is 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday
Week two is 1.30pm to 10.45pm Monday to Thursday and 1.30pm to 6.30pm on a Friday
