Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location:
Peterborough/Hybrid/Flexible working options


Type of Employment:
Permanent


Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000


Working hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm


We are currently recruiting a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for one of our Peterborough based clients, who are currently expanding and have recently open a brand new London office.

This business has some exciting growth plans and customer projects in thepipeline for you to get involved with so if you are an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys working on a variety of projects and a wide range of technologies then this should certainly appeal to you and we would like to hear from you.

What we are looking for:


  • Experience working in an MSP environment or similar business
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and support cases
  • Understanding and troubleshooting various complex IT faults at a thirdline
  • A good knowledge and experience of cloud technologies such as Azure
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to both a technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Ability to provide escalation support to more junior engineers
  • Expert level of MS Windows Sever, O365, MS Exchange
  • Active Directory
  • Good Knowledge of MS Sharepoint, MS Intune
  • Good Knowledge of network technologies (firewalls, Router & VPN's)
  • Watchguard experience is a big bonus along with VOIP/SIP knowledge


This role has a 70% Project focus and 30% BAU which will provide you with the opportunity to provide scope and implementation of customer infrastructure requirements.

Ensuring customers environments are working efficiently and providing project deliveryfor new and existing business. You will take responsibility for your personal development and stay up to date with the latest industry technologies. You will also be have the ability to provide escalation support to more Junior Engineers.
