An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join the Medical Imaging department at The Rotherham NHS Foundation and be part of the Trusts Medical Imaging systems.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing support to the Medical Imaging, Illustration and Physics Clinical Support Unit in the daily management and delivery of a high quality and efficient Medical Imaging IT system service.

You will have knowledge of the importance of Medical Imaging IT systems and how they interact with other electronic systems internal and external to Medical Imaging.

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust has an AGFA Enterprise Imaging PACS integrated with an AGFA RIS as its main reporting, image storage and information system.

As part of the role you will have a mixture of IT technical and day to day departmental operational knowledge, with experience of providing a hands-on approach to various situations and issues.

Ideally, you will have experience in the use of the MEDITECH electronic patient record system, Viewpoint HNC Ultrasound reporting system, 3D software and the Sectra Image Exchange Portal.
