Salary:
Negotiable (Part-time basis)


We have an exciting opportunity for a Responsible Individual on a part-time basis (one or two days a week) to join our brand new children's home based in Birmingham.

We are seeking an experienced and competent Responsible Individual with EBD residential care experience to provide leadership, management, and support to the home and Registered Manager.


You will be a positive and influential Responsible Individual experienced with Ofsted inspections and can help drive the home towards obtaining Ofsted approval.

We offer a competitive salary and bonus scheme with training and development support.


Key Experience and Qualifications required:


  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care, Children and Young People
  • Experience working as a Responsible Individual in an EBD children's home environment
  • Effective supervision and leadership skills
  • A full UK Driving Licence

Key Responsibilities included are:


  • Ensure legal compliance of the home's procedures and processes
  • Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Steer the home towards gaining OFSTED registration
  • Ensure the home is prepared for OFSTED inspections
  • Develop relationships and links with partners agencies
  • Support and supervise the Registered Manager including for Placement Plans
  • Provide effective leadership and supervision to the team

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
Up to £60,000.00 per year
