£40,000 to £55,000

Within the Oldham area and within major commuter links to the M60 and a local Tram Stop, there is a Data Centre Design and Build Company who are a specialist niche service provider to the Building Services market.

You will be working on a number of projectsof varied size but all within the critical infrastructure sector.

They are now looking for their next hire, which is a Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centres to work within a growing and experienced team within the business.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centres within Building Services:

Provide input on design strategy and conceptual design relative to Electrical installations
Undertake design calculations relevant to the design of Electrical installations within major building projects
Design Electrical installations including the production of design drawings, diagrams and schematics along with project specifications and schedules
Design Electrical installations to meet all existing, relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards
Design Electrical installations to meet requirements for energy efficiency and low carbon requirements
Work as part of a team to meet project brief and programme requirements
Lead an M&E Team in the coordination and delivery of individual projects, including attendance at meetings, internal programming, project reviews etc.
Manage client and design team relationships. Understand client needs and interpret and confirm the project brief
Provide assistance and support to other members of the engineering team within the office
Understand Mechanical systems and the ability to report of both disciplines during meetings.

Qualifications

Experience:

Demonstrable project management skills

Software skills including:
Amtech, Autocad, Revit, Barbour Index, Specification Expert, Microsoft Office.
