Parkland County has a _casual _Gatehouse Attendant position from approximately mid-July to mid-September 2023.

Under the general supervision of the Parks & Cemeteries Foreman, this position is responsible for the overall control and management of the boat launch at Wabamun Lake.

Duties include but are not limited to tracking facility use, collecting parking fees, ensuring users are parking and utilizing the launch and facilities appropriately, monitoring amenities for cleanliness, stocking supplies and answering public inquiries.

We are recruiting for the following locations:

• Sundance Boat Launch
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience dealing directly with the public and/or working in a public facility along with prior cash handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate and maintain an effective, tactful, service orientated relationship with the general public.
• Excellent time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Must have a Class 5 Driver's License. A current Driver's Abstract must be provided.

The total rewards package for this position includes:
An hourly rate of pay of $19.90 to $24.87 based with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends and holidays.
