Breakdown Assistance Call Handler - Scania Assistance
Salary:
£24,250
Working pattern: 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
06:00 - 18:00 days, 18:00 - 06:00 nights
Due to our continued success as one of the country's leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Coordinator who takes pride in providing excellent customer service and has a passion for workingwith the best.
Based at our Bradford Scania Assistance Branch you will be reporting directly into the Branch Manager.
You will administrate Scania Assistance cases from the customers' first call to closing the case according to procedures and guidelines to reach a positiveand acceptable solution for the customer.

Responsibilities:
- To receive customer calls relating to breakdown and recovery of Scania vehicles and support the customer through the rectification process and a successful conclusion
- To communicate with repairing workshops on behalf of the customer and all parties involved to ensure the customer is mobile again within all reasonable timescales.
- To provide a guarantee of payment to the repairing workshop on behalf of the customer
- Continuously inform and keep all parties updated on the progress of each case
Key requirements for the role:
- A levels of equivalent ideally with a technical orientation
- Previous experience in a technical role from the heavy vehicle or equivalent industry (desirable)
- Quality oriented; showing responsibility and perseverance at work, a total commitment to offer the highest quality of work and ensure attention to detail
- Previous call centre experience is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good IT knowledge and experience
- Geographical knowledge throughout UK (desirable)
