To strengthen our team, KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd have a vacancy for a
Compliance Officer based at our offices in Slough or Hybrid with a minimum requirement of 3 days in the office.

This is a full time permanent position.

About the role:

Acting as Compliance Officer for all UK activities on behalf of our parent company KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG; performing local Compliance risk assessments and mitigation of local Compliance risks, implementing and managing Compliance as preventive measures in processes.
You would organise and coordinate planned communications for all functions within KSEUK and assist the Business Management with company promotional events
Establish and maintain a compliance management system in line with national laws, regulations and policies, including maintaining the Global Compliance Management System.
Able to communicate effectively, to manage the flow of information between management and specialist areas and advising UK based Managers and Employees on compliance issues.
Will provide training to all employees to ensure awareness of Company requirements on laws regulations and policy.

About You:

You will possess a Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business management or a related field.
3 to 5 years proven experience in a Compliance Officer role
Experience of working in the NHS or healthcare sector and an understanding of medical devices, quality management and information security for healthcare data (e.g.,
UK MDR,
ISO 13485, ISO would be an advantage.
Excellent oral and written English skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the Company, an understanding of German would be beneficial, but is not essential.
