Distribution Operations Manager
As the Operations Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the operation run effectively and efficiently.

Our Thetford site operates as an out base for our Harlow depot so focus of this operation is very much on distribution - unloadingand reloading vehicles to distribute directly to our customers.

Reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the site budget, workforce planning and using data and MI to ensure operational efficiency.

You'll also be responsiblefor ensuring company, operational and legal compliance in critical areas including Health and Safety, Transport - Vehicles and Drivers as well as Food safety.

You'll be a forward-thinking individual, identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvements to ways of working, quality, consistency, and effectiveness of process.

As the Manager, you are expected to be on site during critical operationalhours which will predominantly be Monday - Friday however may involve the occasional Saturday moving forwards.

To join us as the Operations Manager, you will have previous leadership experience in a fast-paced operation and have strong operational knowledge of warehousing and distribution - ideally within the FMCG sector.

You will hold a CPC with O Licence and beIOSH or NEBOSH qualified, however we will provide training if required.

A great people manager, you will have proven experience of developing your direct reports and engaging your team. You'll be commercially astute; results driven, and detail orientated -using data to support your decision making.
