Job Purpose for a Customer Advisor _
Ø To deliver quality customer services (welfare to work) to programme participants.
Ø To ensure compliance with all contractual requirements throughout the company.
Ø Support participants by identifying skills gaps and efficient methods of engaging with employers with the purpose of finding employment.
Ø To provide outstanding in work support services and optimise job retention and sustained outcomes for participants that started employment.

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Advisor_
Ø Deliver an excellent customer service experience to our participants by providing information, advise and guidance.
Ø Assess needs and barriers of participants through SMART action plans and needs assessment.
Ø Source participants from contract award areas via outreach locations.
Ø Support participants into training and employment.
Ø Work within Jobcentres and local authority and a range of community associations.
Ø Track and record customer outcomes and activities on the CRM system.
Ø Assist customers to become job ready by coaching and providing employer led advice and guidance.
Ø Work to targets and deadlines as set out by contract profiles.
Ø Work alongside the Recruitment Managers to support work ready participants into employment.
Ø Provide ongoing support to participants post recruitment (in work support).
Ø Signpost participants to a range of organisations to assist with Health, drug and alcohol, housing, and finance advice.
Ø Deliver a high-quality service in line with Get Set UK's delivery model.
Ø Ensure compliance and accuracy with all aspects of service delivery.
Ø Sourcing employers through a mix of leads and cold calling to generate employment opportunities for customers on your caseloads.
Ø Provide customers with quality constructive feedback that allows them to improve and prepare for the dynamic work environment.
Ø Provide support to the stakeholders to enable them to sustain employment through good practice and overcome any foreseen barriers.
Key Skills Required_
Ø Must have customer service experience in a target driven environment.
Ø Must have strong communication, conflict management and negotiation skills
Ø Must be resourceful and innovative and demonstrate pro-active behaviours,
Ø Must be a team player and supportive of colleagues
Ø Must be empathetic to vulnerable and at-risk adults and have a strong desire to help
Ø Must be willing to travel for work in and around greater London
Ø Be able to demonstrate previous experience in a target driven environment.
Ø Have experience dealing with challenging priority groups.
Ø Have an employment focused approach to their work.
Ø Have worked on voluntary and outreach contracts and can quantify this.
Ø Ability to create SMART action plans and conduct individual needs assessments
Ø Have experience working with the Local Authority and Jobcentre Plus
Ø Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and contractual compliance in their previous roles.
Ø Computer, data entry and MS Office skills

An Ideal Customer Advisor will:_
- Have previous welfare to work experience working on DWP/ESF
- Funded contracts or having a demonstrable set of transferable skills to work in a target-driven environment with a focus on Quality and Compliance.

£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
