Network Engineer - Immediately Required

Duration: 3 months initially
Hours:
Full time, Mon-Fri
Pay Rate:
Daily via Umbrella
Location:
Wolverhampton; Black Country; Birmingham
- Cisco switch configuration
- Network cabinet building and refurbishment
- Installation of UPS
- Cabling maintenance (physically installing switches, routers, etc.)
- Monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, and executing upgrades
- Liaising with management teams, thirdline engineers, and service desk engineers on a regular basis
- Acting as point of escalation for network issues and downtime
- CCNA certification or equivalent
- Sophos firewall configuration
- DMZ experience
- Experience in the public sector is preferable
- Full UK Driving Licence to enable travel to various sites
