Exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join a team of officers responsible for a wide range of licensing responsibilities.

We are looking to recruit a highly self-motivating individual to work in our Licensing Team.

You should have previous experience of working in licensing, preferably with an in-depth knowledge of the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, Animal Welfare and associated legislation pertaining to taxi and private hire licensing.

The main duties will include compliance and enforcement in relation to the licences issued across the wide spectrum of licensing legislation for which the licensing authority has responsibility for, communicating with licensed premises, operators and drivers and investigating complaints.

The work demands excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You will be expected to work on your own initiative with support from wider regulatory service team members. You must have a flexible approach due to the varied demands of the role.

We are looking for someone with a commitment to customer service and a genuine enthusiasm to protect the public through the delivery of an effective licensing framework.

If you feel that you have the experience, skills, and enthusiasm for this, we would love to hear from you.

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Peterborough and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation, and the communities we serve.
