Description

Due to expansion; Our Client has a requirement for General Operatives to join their team of professionals based in Lurgan. You will be a part of an exciting expansion project within an ever expanding forward thinking company.

Rate of pay:

DAYS £10.95 PER HOUR
EVENINGS £11.59 PER HOUR
OVERTIME £12.77 PER HOUR (overtime paid after their working hours Mon
Sat)
OVERTIME PER HOUR (rate is paid if they work before 6am or after 12am)
SUNDAY OVERTIME £18 PER HOUR (even without working full hours)

WORKING HOURS:

Monday

Friday: 7am 3pm, Saturday 6am 11am

Monday

Friday: 3pm 12 midnight
45 hour working week + overtime available at all times

Change shifts weekly, Saturdays may be required due to the requirements of the business needs.

Applicants will be required to:

Hang metal products to be dipped
Fit products together with hand and power tools
Load and unload lorries
Quality check products
Any other duties as and when required by management.
Galvanizing is a simple process of corrosion protection consisting of dipping steel into a bath of molten zinc

Essential requirements:
-

Previous production background.
Experience of fitting parts together with use of hand and power tools.

Desirable:
-

Knowledge of using overhead cranes.
Previous metal dipping experience.
