Butler Rose are proud to be partnered with a leading charitable organisation who are seeking a highly organised Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team on a permanent, full time basis.

Your new role as Assistant Accountant:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger and accounts payable/receivable.
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Reconciling bank statements and other general ledger accounts.
Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring.
Assisting with the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

A minimum of 1 year experience in an Assistant Accountant role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Your Reward & The Package on Offer:
Salary of £23,000 - £27,000
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
6% employer pension contribution
