This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual, to join our Radiology Department. You would become involved in enhancing the Radiology service.


Your duties will include:
Providing anefficient, high quality support for patients attending the radiology department.

Assist theRadiographers, Nurses and Radiologist during all CT procedures and to carry out administration duties.

Assistwith patient care.

Update and maintain the Radiology Computer system CRIS.

Deal with telephone queries.


Your duties will include assisting the staff with patient care, involving direct patient contact and assisting Radiology staff within the department.

You must possess excellent communication and Information Technology skills, and be a good team player.

You will need to be able to work under your own initiative but with a high level of supervision and with good support.


Please note the working hours vary on a 3 weekly rotation and consist of 2 weeks of 08:00 till 17:30 and 1 week of 12:30 till 22:00 and 1 weekend in - Maintain stock levels of consumables used in the department.


  • Maintain linen stock levels and change the linen in area of work daily.
  • Maintain general cleanliness within the department.
  • Assist with cleaning and preparation of CT rooms and waiting areas.
  • Assist all patients within the Radiology Department as required.
  • Ensure patients are appropriately changed for their examination, providing assistance prior to and after the examination if required.
  • Input patient information into the CRIS and Medway systems
  • Assist with inputting examination reports on to the Radiology computer system.
  • Treat patients with empathy and respect at all times.
  • Appropriately assist patients in changing.
