Description
The Sales Business Development Representative will be responsible for leading and implementing the divisions plans to increase its market share through expansion into new areas of opportunity.
Reporting to the director, this is a business-critical role thatwill help to develop and shape the business moving forward.
Working alongside our business development team and having a hands-on approach, you will be commercially focused and will be able to demonstrate an ROI within a short space of time.
You'll quickly build strong and influential relationships with other firms, knowing how and when to challenge to get the best results for bringing on newbusiness.

- Liaise with the director and team leaders to target specific areas of the market to focus on.
- Lead and support the delivery of the business development team.
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Increase the quality of our business development.
- Ideate, develop, coordinate, and execute plans to drive the business growth. Establish timelines and delivery according to set schedule(s).
- Anticipate challenges and manage complex, reactive, fastmoving changes to the market.
- Develop an in depth understanding of Buchanan Searches peers and strategies.
- Ability to form strong relationships with leadership and peers and be able to work SMART and effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good presenter able to make recommendations with gravitas and inspire confidence in others.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proactive, a 'can do' attitude, with a willingness to 'roll your sleeves up' bringing new ideas and suggestions to the table.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask well.
- Able to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
- High level of personal enthusiasm and selfmotivation.
- Ability to produce and execute targeted BD strategies, with a focus on ROI.

- Cold calling to gain new clients
- Identifying Clients for successful placements
- Negotiating terms of contracts
