- 73450A brilliant role for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join a business on the outskirts of Scarborough. Alongside a salary of up to £25,000, on offer is 31 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing to 33 days, death in service, healthcare options and early finish This role can also be considered on a fulltime or parttime (30 hours a week) basis, for the right individual.
Key responsibilities for the Sales Ledger Clerk will include:
- Daily processing of invoices, credit, debit notes and respective payments
- Process expense invoices and assist in the preparation of regular reconciliation
- Credit Control and Sales Ledger duties
- Dealing with supplier queries and correspondences
- General transactional responsibilities through the wider Finance Team
- Other ad hoc duties, as required
- Previous experience in a similar role
- An AAT qualification (desirable, but not essential)
- Good team working and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and to own initiative
- Working knowledge of accountancy software such as Sage, Quickbooks or Xero would be beneficial
This role would be an excellent position for an Accounts Administrator, Finance Admin, Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or Finance Officer looking for a new opportunity, as well as a Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable Clerk.
