We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking to recruit an
Internal Sales Co-ordinator in the Colchester area of Essex.
About the role:
The Internal Sales Coordinator is responsible for the raising and pricing of quotes for their given area, job chasing to order conversion and query/complaint resolution.
Additionally, they will utilise skills and tools cascaded from the Commercial Excellence initiatives delivered from the National team or identified from within the BU.
To deliver and exceed targeted sales volumes, price and market share for your designated area of responsibility working in conjunction with the internal and external commercial teams.
- To achieve volume and price targets for your area of responsibility
- To deliver Value Added Product targets as set by BU and Regional management.
- To identify and grow cash sales volumes and prices against targets
- To ensure customer satisfaction measures are constantly exceeded
- Strong management of pipeline through proactive contract chasing and identification of leads
- Continually work towards improving OTIFIC [on time in full invoiced correctly] performance
- Follow internal processes and procedures to ensure 'Best Practice'
- Revenue and contribution in line with BU targets
- Growth : volume, price, profitability
- Business Performance: KPIs and Performance Plan
- Contribute to EBITDA improvement
- Telephony and query response times
- Query & Complaint resolution to SLA's
- VAP targets
- Cash Sale Targets
- Understanding of commercial processes and procedures
- Working crossfunctionally to deliver customer requirements
- Demonstrable experience of utilising commercial tools
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional sales and customer service
- Influencing and negotiation skills; understanding of competitive landscape; high level of drive & determination; able to identify customer needs and build solutions; comprehensive product knowledge; decision making, conversant with haulage capabilities and capacities
