Thank you for taking an interest in the post of School Business Support Officer 3 at Coppull Primary School and Nursery.

Experience of using school IT systems e.g. SIMS, Finance 6, Oracle Self-service, Schools Portal, Evolve and SCOPay is essential to the role.
We are looking for a resilient team player with a meticulous approach to their work. The role is extremely demanding and, at times, brings high levels of pressure.


The school office and the school business support officer, are pivotal to everything that goes on in our busy, hardworking school.

The role is permanent, full time and is a 39 week position which is term time with an additional 5 INSET days.

Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
A flexible approach to working patterns would be expected with holidays unable to be taken in term time.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent C or above including maths and English
Essential Experience

  • Experience of working in a school setting
  • Experience in administrative/financial roles
  • Experience of working with school IT systems including SIMS, Finance 6, Oracle Fusion, Schools Portal, and SCOPay or equivalent
  • Experience of working alongside families, carers and other agencies for the benefit of the pupils
  • Experience of working within teams
Desirable Experience

  • Experience of taking minutes at committee meetings
  • Experience of liaising with external contractors.
