Interim Finance Systems Implementation Lead - Midlands/Hybrid - Circa £650-£750 per day outside IR Months


I am currently working with the group function of a Listed business to recruit an Interim Finance Systems Implementation Lead to join their team for a period of 9-12 months.

This will be a Hybrid opportunity with weekly travel to a Midlands based office.


The organisation is in the process of implementing a system to replace their current end of life system which operates the group's consolidation and reporting.


The role will require the Systems Implementation Lead to sit between group finance and the implementation partner throughout the project and up until successful completion.


The implementation partner will be responsible for the build and configuration of the system with group finance responsible for the overall design.

The finance function are highly capable and tenured within the organisation so will have significant involvementin the ultimate delivery of the project.


Once the System is successfully integrated into the group function the next step will be to look at a volume of subsidiary businesses on disparate platforms.

In collaboration with the incumbent finance team's, you will need to find a commonality of reportingand data to allow the subsidiary businesses to report up to the group chart of accounts.


Required Experience:


  • An accountancy qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience of implementing a consolidation and reporting system within a large business.
  • A background in group finance specifically in consolidation and reporting.
  • Project management experience.
  • A strong data skillset.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering change in a large complex business.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
