Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a fantastic business based in Gateshead on the appointment of a Finance Assistant.
You will be responsible for the transactional workload within the department.Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of all purchase orders raised and matching to purchase invoices.
- Production of weekly sales invoices
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Statement Reconciliation
- Support of month end close for AP and AR including statement reconciliations.
- Assisting with month end journals
- Quarterly VAT return preparation
- Processing of biweekly payment run
- Processing of staff expenses
Skills & Knowledge Specification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar finance role.
- Excellent excel and computer skills are required, as is the passion to meet deadlines with accurate information.
- Strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Job Types:

Salary:
Up to £27,000.00 per year
