MPI have a requirement for a Planner to work on site in Almondbank, PerthThe planner role is a 6 month fixed term contract to cover long term absence with the possibility of going permanent.
Purpose and Scope:
The Planner is responsible for the effective planning of their delegated components under the control of the Part Repair Programme manager
Responsibilities:
Maintain Item Master Plans daily.
Liaise with Customer Service Reps to ensure full customer feedback.
Liaise daily with the production teams on the execution of Production Plans, ensuring the work schedule is accurate.
Determine the status of assigned order tasks, expedite operations that delay orders and alter schedules to meet hitherto unforeseen conditions.
Action amendments to the master plan as required, liaising with Operation manager, Programme managers & Customer Service reps (CSR) on projects requiring reschedule out with the production periods.
Provide status reports as required by the Business management team.Contribute to team delivery of agreed targets and goals.
Monitor, analyse & report performance to schedule of production & production support activities, utilising information derived from the ERP system.
Responsible for the accuracy of ERP planning data.Insert "a/w tech info" or "a/w spares" operations into production planning session in ERP and reschedule as required. i.e following the creation of a Non-Conforming Investigation Report (NCIR)
Monitor assigned work centres for past dues, spares, tech info, etc, regularly and liaise with appropriate areas of the business to hasten resolutions.
Manage orphaned items as required.Review weekly, completed work orders ensuring they are closed in a timely fashion.
Support Planning Support in their daily tasks as required.
Attend and contribute to meetings as required.
Cover essential functions in the team as required.
Ensuring that continuation training is up to date and that packs are read and signed for
Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals
