Bookkeeper - Farnham
A new role has arisen to work for a leading-edge firm of accountants and professional advisers.

Key responsibilities:
- Managing day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients as well as reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month end reviews
- Reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements
- Preparing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes
- Communicating directly with HMRC when necessary, undertaking general administration tasks
- Providing training to clients on various packages and bookkeeping skills as required
Skills and experience:
- Minimum 23 years post qualified experience preferably within an accountancy practice
- AAT qualified
- Extensive working use of Xero software (preferably Xero certified)
- Ability to work both independently, direct liaison with clients, as well as part of a team in both a supporting and supervising capacity
- Positive team player with a "can do" attitude
- Accurate data entry skills with excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with CCH would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about great service in order to provide a high level of client care
