Duties:

• Guard the reception with the objective of protecting the occupants, the public and the client's property by detecting and deterring fire, theft, vandalism, antisocial activity, malicious damage, flooding, unauthorised access, and any other misdemeanour or crime.
• Meet and greet visitors, staff, and other occupiers of the building
• Guard against wastage of materials, power, and water
• Help prevent loss through carelessness or disobedience
• Protect life against threat or violence
• Assist with alarm activations by investigating, evacuating and fire marshalling
• Ensure that correct practices and procedures are implemented with regard to all health and safety issues on site. This will include monitoring of risk control systems, workplace precautions and adherence to workplace legislation and approved codes of practice
• Carry out other reasonable requests and duties from time to time as directed by Building/Security management
• Assist with any queries in a professional and friendly manner
• Ensure that all Internal patrols, daily/weekly/monthly checks are done as required and to keep all record accurate and up to date

About You:

In this position you will work predominantly in the front of house so you will need to be friendly and smart as you are the first point of contact to all who enter the premises.

To be successful in this role you will hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and have a good level of English both written and spoken.

You will also need to be customer focused with the ability to remain calm in emergencies and dealing with customers.

The ability to work in a team is also essential, along with the ability to work unsupervised.

Additionally, you will have a competent level of IT skills. Previous security experience would also be beneficial.
