We are Recruiting a Team Leader, Greater Manchester**
Salary scale:£28,625- £
31,452*:

- permanent**
Manchester city centre office base but travel to the other 9 boroughs of Greater Manchester is required (paid travel expenses).

About the role and who we are looking for
We are excited to advertise a new post for our growing employment and learning support service

  • The Greater Manchester Education, Training and Employment service (GM ETE). Our delivery supports the Probation Service's service users (People on Probation) into quality learning and employment opportunities.


This role will support the manager to ensure our team of Key Workers deliver an excellent ETE service to those who need it.

We are especially looking for applicants who are confident in challenging practise to improve the outcomes for service users.

Also, organised people who display initiative in resource management, building relationships with partner organisations and researching new opportunities for People on Probation.

As well, you will have the skills to work towards individual performance outcomes.

The role also involves promoting the safeguarding and welfare of vulnerable young people and adults in accordance with the Career Connect Safeguarding policy and procedure.


We'll give you all the training you need to do the Team Leader role and provide you with support to get established in the new role.

Your package


Our permanent staff enjoy a reasonable 35h working week and we also offer flexi-time, so when we ask our staff to do extra, we always make sure they've got those hours to take back another time.

Team Leaders are paid on a scale up to £30,452 and you will be reimbursed for any additional travel, beyond your main base of work.

Our holidays start at 25 days + Bank Holidays and we give up to an extra 6 days a year for staff with longer service.
