Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant for a well-respected employer and internationally renowned retail group, based in Hayes (NW London).

The Company

This group of companies are pleased to have seen recent progression as part of their genuine meritocracy for both an AP Assistant to Supervisor level & a Finance Manager to FC Level.

As the Assistant Management Accountant you will quickly prove yourself a key member of the Finance team and will be response for providing accurate financial data and budgetary oversight, as well as supporting the Finance Manager and Head of Finance withmonthly reporting, amongst other duties

This is an excellent opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant to develop and grow with an organisation that will not only provide a wonderful culture and team with which to learn on the job, but also provide financial support for the remainder of theirstudies.

Monthly reconciliation of the database and preparation of monthly analysis and budget reporting of income and associated expenditure
Overseeing the budgetary control of all projects and activities, liaising with budget holders as necessary
Assisting the Head of Finance with budgetary aspects and production of financial reports
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accruals and prepayments
Supporting with the production of the monthly management accounts, budgeting information and other reporting
Processing monthly payroll and employer's pension
Preparing the quarterly VAT returns
Supporting with the annual audit and production of statutory accounts
Raising sales invoices and to provide support to ensure that that the monthly financial process are completed on time

To succeed you will be:

A partqualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA accountant
Experienced with the Microsoft Office package (Excel intermediate level as a minimum)
Previous experience of finance budgeting, reporting and VAT administration
Previous experience of general, sales and purchase ledger, payroll administration (ideally)
Experience of working as part of a Management Accounting team (Desirable)
