PHQ Martlesham/Hybrid Working

1 x Full Time (37 Hours) - Permanent

1 x Part Time (15 hours) - Permanent

£23,100 - £25,758 per annum/ pro rata

Protective Services Command consists of circa 700 people providing a number of specialist areas of support to both Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies which include Roads and Armed Policing, Serious and Organised Crime, Intelligence, Digital Forensics, Major Investigations, Forensic Services, and Covert Policing.


This is an exciting opportunity for a personal assistant to work with two Superintendents providing them with comprehensive and confidential PA/administrative support.

Main activities of the role are detailed in the attached Job Description.


It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience of working in an office environment where accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality are required.
  • Possession of typing/word processing qualifications to RSA II standard or equivalent experience.
  • Proven interpersonal/communication skills in dealing with senior management and other members of staff.
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively organise own workload and use initiative to make appropriate decisions.
  • Proven experience of taking minutes at meetings.
  • Proven experience of maintaining diaries.

It is desirable that applicants meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified to RSA Stage III typing or equivalent
Hours of work for the full time post are 37 per week Monday to Friday.

Hours of work for the part time post are 15 per week working 2 days, working days to be discussed at Interview.

These posts are offered on a permanent basis.
