TPP are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to join our client, an award-winning social enterprise, in London.

The Role:


As a dynamic and dedicated Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for the recruitment, engagement, and coordination of volunteers who share your passion for education.

Your efforts will directly contribute to the mission of inspiring the next generation of role models and leaders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and execute effective strategies to attract, screen, and welcome volunteers.
  • Engagement and Retention: Cultivate strong relationships with volunteers, offering guidance, support, and recognition.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Match volunteers to roles that align with their skills, interests, and availability.
  • Training and Development: Organise training sessions and workshops.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster open and effective communication with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders to facilitate information sharing, coordinate activities, and promote a collaborative environment.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate volunteer records, databases, and tracking systems to monitor volunteer engagement and assess their impact.
  • Event Support: Collaborate closely with programme managers to ensure events receive the volunteer support required, providing guidance and supervision as necessary.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Collect valuable feedback from volunteers, assess the effectiveness of the volunteer programme, and provide regular reports to management.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in coordinating volunteers, preferably within a nonprofit or charity setting.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • A deep passion for STEAM education and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Proficiency in using volunteer management software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
