Description

We are looking to appoint a one-year term full time Locum Consultant Paediatrician to further develop our highly rated Paediatric services at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.


The appointed consultant will be job planned to provide services in mainly Community Paediatrics or depending on interest, mainly in Children in Care.

Interest in Paediatric subspecialities is welcome and the respective job plans can be flexible. Please arrange to meet the team to discuss further opportunities.

You will join a dynamic and supportive team who strives consistently to provide excellent clinical care.

The department is also currently in the process of developing separate pathways for ADHD and ASD assessment along with Joint Up Derbyshire and aims to embed a multidisciplinary workforce model.


The Children in Care provides an efficient and high-quality service with large number of initial health assessments, adoption panels and advisory panels.
