We are recruiting for 4 x Yard Operatives for temp to permanent contracts on an immediate start on behalf of our Customer, a national Events company based in Thurleigh, Bedford MK44 2DF

Salary £22k to start increasing to £24k after 6 months.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday

Job DescriptionOperational Duties (to include, but not limited to):

Maintain and keep a clean, safe yard with all risks minimised and report any areas of concern to the operations management team verbally and via the Near Miss and Damages procedures.
Actively promote and enforce Health and Safety at work.
Work with & assist operations personnel to check and maintain stock levels.
Be part of the service, inspection and maintenance of all equipment.
Carry out repairs and maintenance to site facilities. To carry out any activity that fits within the role as instructed by line management.
Prepare equipment for jobs as requested by the operations management team.
Pick equipment according to the load lists.
Provide support to the transport manager by cleaning and servicing vehicles.
Using ratchet straps to secure loads to trailers and kit to stillage's.
Carry out repairs, refurbishment and maintenance to hire equipment.
Ensure stock is serviced and ready for despatch.
Actively partake in annual stock checks and asset identification.

Admin Duties(to include, but not limited to):

Full procedure completion for near misses, accident reporting and damages.
Advise Management Team of stock shortages and consumables required.
Follow company administrative procedures.

Training and Development

£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
