The
Project Manager - Electrical is in charge of the Project Team responsible for the Electrical Package SOW within a large project.

The Project Manager - Electrical is responsible for planning and overseeing the electrical scope of work to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome.

This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project.

He/she will oversee a smooth transition from the estimate/pre-construction phase to construction, including design management, if applicable, in order to protect the bid position.

He/she is responsible for ensuring the project/area is constructed in a safe, ethical manner, and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.


Project Manager - Electrical Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with financial operations and corporate cost control
  • 15+ years of experience reviewing, executing, and managing the client's prime contract as well as subcontracts and vendor agreements. This includes facilitating, administering, and participating in contract discussions, reviews, and negotiations with all relevant contracting parties.
  • 15+ years of extensive experience in the management of electrical packages within heavy civil infrastructure projects
  • Bachelor of Science in Construction or Engineering or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.
  • Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
  • Requires experience with tolling systems, parking garage systems, roadway intelligent transportation systems, roadway lighting, traffic signals, fire alarm, distributed antenna systems, electrical substations and distribution systems, building and architectural lighting systems, access control and CCTV systems, etc
