Job description:


  • To work in a competent, safe and professional manner, to serve both internal and external customers.
  • To take all reasonable care during the performance of their work for the Health and Safety of themselves and others affected by their acts or omissions. To cooperate fully with FMC, regulatory authorities and/or third parties to ensure compliance with applicable legislation.

  • To participate and contribute to successful testing and installation of all FMC manufactured equipment.
  • To promote a professional attitude while working offshore with the client.

Authority:


  • Authority to stop an unsafe act or condition without fear of reprisal and with the full backing of TechnipFMC Management.
  • Stop any job if not adhering to TFMC standards or procedures.
  • Identify and propose measures and methods for more efficient execution of project activities.

Main tasks

  • Safety and timely installation of all TechnipFMC manufactured equipment.
  • Ensure all operations both onshore and offshore are carried out in line with company guidelines and procedures.
  • Attending pre and post job meetings, including liaison with the client to ensure their requirements are fully met.
  • Responsible for checking the load outs and post job checks of tools, hand tools, loading baskets and spares required for the project and signing appropriate documents before and after job.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Review procedures, and ensure nothing is missed from load out listings.
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork including; Job and Inventory reports, expenses and FNCR's are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and validity of all required documentation necessary for working globally.
  • Reporting of all FNCR's/QN's during installation of FMC equipment.
  • Offshore contact between customer and FMC onshore.
  • Involvement in report writing as necessary.
  • Review procedures and ensure everything is accounted for on the documentation.
  • Attend S.I.T. for client and organisation when requested.
  • Attend various training courses when requested.
  • Attend quarterly service meetings and take part in focus groups when required.
  • Share knowledge with colleges and assist in training, mentoring less experienced personnel prior to going offshore with all aspects of the role.

Experience/Qualifications required;

  • Educated to ONC/HND standard or time served mechanical/electrical discipline.
  • Understands Q/HSE, familiar with requirements participates and promotes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of subsea, hydraulics, mechanical or electrical equipment.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of applicable theories, practices and procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team in a very demanding and varying environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
