The role:

Gower College Swansea is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Recruitment Officer to join its busy HR Team.


Full Time (37 hours per week)

Permanent

£25, 264 - £27,457 per annum

Hill House campus

Key Responsibilities:


Working closely with the Senior HR Advisor and liaising directly with Managers you will provide high quality and responsive recruitment services to your designated areas within the College.

Process payroll documentation including inputting details onto the HR database and raising payroll forms.

Generate all standard HR correspondence including letters of appointment, contracts, amendments to contract and resignation confirmation letters


Assist and support the HR team with HR projects as driven by the strategic aims of the Department and College.


About you:


  • Previous experience of managing high volumes of recruitment is essential
  • 5 GCSEs with a minimum of C grade in English & Maths
  • Experience of managing your own workload and using your initiative
  • Excellent IT skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, be confident in dealing with people and be able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
