Digital Planning Programme Coordinator, £26,250 per annum, fixed term contract to September 2023, Edinburgh based or within travelling distance to the Edinburgh Office if required with a blend of home and office working.

We are looking for a Digital Planning Programme Coordinator to support in the delivery of a digital planning skills and capabilities programme which aims to develop a range of tools to support development, knowledge transfer and champion digital planning.


This is an exciting time to be joining the team and you will play an integral role in the development and administration of multiple projects; reporting to and assisting the Digital Planning Programme Project Manager in monitoring project progress, engagingwith and updating key stakeholders, building relationships with contractors for project delivery and maintaining oversight overall.

In November 2020 Scottish Government published

Transforming Places Together:
digital strategy for planning.

This strategy defines a long-term strategic direction for how Scotland's planning system will digitally transform, embracing the opportunities newdigital technologies and data present.


This strategy was informed by research undertaken by the RTPI.This is an exciting time to join us and be part of a new and growing team spearheading this initiative.


You will have experience in project administration including organising meetings/events, building relationships with stakeholders and stakeholder management and supporting project launches.

It would be an advantage if you have experience in project management,planning scheduling and updating websites and social media channels.

You will be comfortable working in a busy, fast paced and varied environment with the ability to manage your workload effectively.
