Cleveland Cable Company is the largest supplier of cables and cable accessories in the UK. Established in 1978, we operate nine branches across the UK and Ireland supplying domestic and European markets.

In 2016, we launched Dubai-based Cleveland Cable Trading FZCO to supply markets in the Middle East and Africa, taking our business truly global.

Additionally, we own and operate Superlec Direct - an electrical wholesale, supplier and retail e-commerce website.


We are currently looking for a Stock Control Administrator the role is hugely important and responsible position in the company.

The successful applicant will join a well established Local Company with a secure and long-term career.


Key Roles:


  • Review daily and weekly reports and identify low stock and expedite with appropriate supplier.
  • Expedite Suppliers for all outstanding UK and Worldwide stock orders that are overdue/due for despatch.
  • Ensure timely responses are received promptly on the above and update our bespoke database accordingly.
  • Liaise with UK and Worldwide sales team and management regarding delivery dates for stock and customer orders.
  • Cover the position of Stock Allocation Manager in her absence.

Key Skills:


  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload within a very busy and fastmoving environment.
  • Ability to interpret information and ascertain it is factually correct.
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Assertiveness.
  • Computer literate good working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook etc)
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately and efficiently.
Salary is dependent on experience and negotiable.

Experience:


  • Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
  • Stock Control/Allocation: 1 year (preferred)
