Specialist Vehicle Rental are nationwide suppliers in the relief and long term hires of adapted, wheelchair accessible and dual control vehicles and now expanding into the electric vehicle sector.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team in a fast paced environment.

Previous experience within a similar role of vehicle administrator/hire controller, vehicle rental coordinator would be very beneficial and an ideal role for someone with experience within the accessible and adapted sector.


The role will include:

  • Speaking with the customer and end user to ensure we have the correct vehicle type.
  • Sourcing and allocating the adapted and wheelchair accessible vehicles, you will be required to take the booking through from enquiry to hire agreement and arranging delivery.
  • Ensuring the vehicle has the correct adaptations the client requires (training will be given on controls, measurements and access vehicles)
  • Planning of the vehicle delivery and collection in line with the other departments and drivers
  • Keeping utilisation high
  • Updating MID Insurance database
  • MOT, RFL and Toll Checks
  • Checking driving licences
  • Customer interface and queries and passing these on to the correct department
  • Maintenance Queries
  • High level of IT skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be able to work at a fast pace
  • Good at multi tasking

Working Hours

08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday


1 in 3 Saturdays 09:00am to 12:00pm - this is paid for 4 hours for 3 worked and on top on the annual salary.

Holidays

20 Days Plus Bank Holiday (Closed on bank holidays)

£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
