_A role has become available to work within the IT department at a prominent Reading based secondary school. _

The role:

Monitoring, servicing and maintaining computers and IT equipment within the school
Dealing with IT queries from teachers and support staff in a timely manner via the IT helpdesk
Identifying IT hardware and software faults and correct and/or identify further action
Monitoring the school IT network for viruses and malware as well as misuse and unauthorised software
Setting up and security marking new machines for use in the school
Supporting the SLT and administration team with the provision of communication with outside contractors through the website and social media
