Senior Internal Recruiter
Contract
Hybrid working - 2-3 days per week in Central London
£250-£400 per day (inside IR35) on an initial 6-month contract

The opportunity
An exciting role for an experienced Senior in-house recruiter to join a new central recruitment team by attracting the talent the University needs to deliver on its world leading teaching and research agenda.
Key responsibilities
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing end to end recruitment requirements to agreed service catalogue and metrics utilising defined systems and processes in line with policies including, but not limited to, the Recruitment Policy.
- Working with hiring managers to agree hiring plan for each role including defining times for shortlisting and interviews, advertising and routes to market strategy ,social media engagement (e.g Linked In), and assessment
- Supporting hiring managers in writing attractive job descriptions in collaboration with HR Business Partner
- Supporting hiring managers by prescreening applicants and informing shortlist
- Producing shortlist and interview packs for interview panels
- Managing verbal offer processes
Essential:
- Proven experience of full lifecycle recruitment experience within an inhouse or RPO environment with a particular focus on Executive Search. Experience in academic recruitment would be preferred but is not essential if experience of complex search mandates
- Ability to build credibility quickly and develop positive working relationships with stakeholders
- Thrives in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
Desirable:
- REC Diploma or professional qualification in recruitment
- Experience of producing performance metrics to support customer scorecards
- Experience of working within a 'matrix' organisation
- Experience of hiring for niche roles
- Experience of working within the Higher Education Sector
- Experience of xray and Boolean search would be advantageous
