Team Administrator - Band 2


Contract:
Permanent.

Full-time 37.5 hours per week


The post holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive, high quality secretarial and administrative support service to one of a number of District Nursing Teams within Whittington Health (Haringey & Islington).

  • To undertake audio/copy typing using Microsoft Word.
  • To be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Access. To undertake the organisation of incoming mail and documents, photocopying, circulation, processing of correspondence, filing and general clerical duties as required by the District Nurse Team Manager.
  • To answer the telephone, take detailed and accurate messages, deal with telephone enquiries and take appropriate action when necessary.
  • To draft letters, memorandums and reports as requested.
  • To order, store and maintain supplies of clinical and non clinical equipment as necessary.
  • To organise appointments for staff and patients as required.
  • To book clinical and non
- clinical rooms as required.

  • To travel between bases and work on different sites within Whittington Health as required.
  • To maintain electronic/hard copy diaries, filing and administration systems as required
  • To liaise effectively with managers/clinicians and with all external parties
  • To ensure that confidentiality is maintained with regard to the business of the service at all times
  • To work in other areas of the service, as required by the needs of the service
  • To undertake any other duties as commensurate with grade as directed by the Localities Business Manager
