Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;

The installing, maintaining, removing of static temporary traffic management on motorways and high speed carriageways

A range of arboriculture work including maintenance of grass, hedges, trees and wild grasslands

General maintenance including:
drainage, litter picking, sweeping, vegetation clearance, barrier inspections & siding out activities

Winter service activities including gritting, snow clearance, flood avoidance maintenance and any other supporting activity

Depot based activities including cleaning rearranging and maintaining

Vehicle, plant and labour transportation activities

Completion of various electronic and paper processes to comply with the Company's procedure in relation to Health and Safety and Fleet

Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;

To work safely and be responsible for personal safety, the safety of the whole gang, and that of others who come into contact with the works being carried out

To carry out all required checks of plant, equipment and vehicles including completion of associated reports

To undertake works as instructed without direct supervision ensuring they are completed to specification and programme

To accurately complete daily record sheets and submit them at the end of each day

To participate in Emergency Works and Winter Maintenance rosters and to respond to out of office hours emergencies if required

To participate and complete all necessary training

Shift working as required

Formal qualifications required;

Hold a full and current driving licence
