The Honeypot Jamaican Takeaway are recruiting for a welcoming and professional Team Members/Cashier to join our restaurant staff. As the first point of contact, you will greet and assist customers as they enter our restaurant.- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Pay is National Minimum wage.
- Level 2 food and hygiene certificate (Working towards/essentia)
- Willing to Learn
Team member / Cashier requirements
- Greeting customers/greet customers
- Processing customer orders
- Providing excellent customer service
- Using the cash register to take payment for food and drink orders
- Processing debit card transactions and credit card transactions/accept payment
- Place food orders in the appropriate bags and boxes.
- Respond to customer enquiries, issue receipts, and record customer suggestions.
- Clean food preparation areas
- Read food order slips
- Explaining menu items/answer customers questions/identify prices
- Speaking to customers politely
- Receive verbal instructions
- Following work environment safety standards
- General cleaning duties such as cleaning cooking surfaces and display cases
- Working in a fastpaced environment
- Preparing the at the end of the shift for the next shift
