Machine Operative (Living Herbs Packing) - Full Time
5 days in 7 working pattern
- Role reports into the Living Herbs Team Leader
- Lincolnshire Herbs is one of the largest growers of fresh cut and living pot herbs in the UK and we have an opportunity for a full time Machine Operator to join our team based in Bourne, Lincs.
- To operate a fully automated pot packing line.
- Fulfilling the daily pot packing Plan, ensuring these are always packed with 100% accuracy
- Setting up, operating the machine, and correcting any faults throughout the day with the machine
- Completing all paperwork correctly as required.
- To achieve production KPI's, targeting improved operational and financial performance within the packing area
- Engage with the maintenance team regarding machine breakdowns and other issues which may arise
- To carry out all tasks safely, with minimum risk, in accordance with the company Health and Safety regulations
- To carry out duties ensuring quality of products
Person Specification:
- Good communication skills, a positive attitude and be able to follow instruction
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Be reliable, punctual and have a flexible approach to working hours
- To be considered you must be numerate with a good standard of written and spoken English
- Attention to detail is vital in this role.
