The Best Connection are seeking Material Handlers, to work for our well established client in
Sutton in Ashfield

Reporting to the lead technician, and working alongside other technicians, you will be provided with full training, and carrying out the following duties:

  • Setting up machine sells ready for production to start
  • Cleaning down of machines and auxiliaries thoroughly on changeovers
  • Prepping materials for production requirements
  • Locating materials in the main warehouse, you will be required to lift 25kg bags, which is extremely physical
  • General housekeeping duties and supporting colleagues with similar tasks
  • A good level of numeracy and literacy skills

Working hours/pay rates:


  • Training on a day shift, you will then be required to move on to a rotating 3 shift pattern
  • Days £11.56 per hour), Afters £11.81 per hour), Nights £13.56 per hour)
  • Time and a half after 40 hours
